In their loss to the Packers on Saturday, they can at least look to future with good draft position.
They will pick 23rd in April, following the other wild card weekend losers Cincinnati and Washington. They all finished the regular season at 10-6, but of those three team, the Vikings had the toughest schedule. Their opponents had an average winning percentage of .520, Cincinnati's opponents were .438, Washington's .494.
The Indianapolis Colts went 11-5 in the regular season and will pick 24th.
