The San Francisco 49ers are feeling good about themselves, and Vernon Davis just let everyone know it also. Coming so close in 2011, the 49ers feel they are a team of destiny and the Atlanta Falcons are merely a road block in the way.
While the perception of the 49ers is a hard nosed group, Atlanta isn’t given much of a chance, especially from the 49ers tight end.
According to Davis, the Falcons have no chance; they might as well not show up at all. He spoke to ESPN Radio with Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo about the difference between 2011 and 2012.
“This year is a lot different than last year because we’ve been there, we know what it’s like, we know what to expect and we know how to plan.
It’s all about preparation going into this game. We’re going into their stadium and of course we’re going to win.
That’s the goal. We have to be well prepared for this team and be ready for whatever they bring.”
