USC assures head coach Lane Kiffin will be back in 2013

USC Athletic Director Pay Hayden assured head coach lane Kiffin before today’s game vs. UCLA that he would be back in 2013 no matter the results of the past few games.

The Trojans went out and fell behind 24-0, similar to the opening of their game vs. Oregon, but mounted a comeback that fell short 38-28, as UCLA will play in the inaugural PAC-12 championship game and not the Trojans.

Next week the Trojans will finish the regular season as they play against the Fighting Irish at home.  They may have to also play this game without their star QB Matt Barkley, who left the game today late in the fourth quarter and was found leaving the stadium with his right arm hanging under his jacket.

Kiffin, who is in his third season, has a 25-11 record with the Trojans and an overall record of 37-26 record (previous stints with the Oakland Raiders and Tennessee Volunteers)

Pat, are you sure you want to keep Kiffin now, or would you like a Mulligan?
