Thurman Thomas: Buffalo Bills will make the playoffs

You can add Thurman Thomas to the growing list of former and current Buffalo Bills players who believe this year’s team could be pretty good.

The Hall of Fame running back, who recently spoke at a football camp in Chautauqua County, said the playoffs are a real possibility.

''I'm definitely going to say playoffs,'' Thomas told The Jamestown Post-Journal. ''I saw the schedule and I saw 10 or 11 wins.”

But, Thomas said the team has to stay healthy in order to make a run.

“As a former player, it all depends on health,” he said. “The last couple years, the Bills have had more players on injured reserve than anyone in the National Football League. Everybody looks good on paper.''

Thomas was also excited about the Buffalo Bills free-agent signings and contract extensions given to top players such as Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stevie Johnson and Fred Jackson.

''I'm excited,'' Thomas said. ''I think they'll make the playoffs.''
