Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was supposed to hear his appeal on his 4-game suspension on Friday, but a source familiar with the case said it likely will be delayed until the following week, according to Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports.
That means he will get to play Sunday when the team travels to Toronto to take of the Buffalo Bills.
Sherman has maintained his innocence since the suspension was handed down. His teammmate and fellow CB Brandon Browner withdrew his appeal and started his suspension last week.
Sherman said he drank from a teammate's bottle that had a crushed Adderall pill poured into it.
"It's gonna get solved and I think at the end of the day it'll get worked out fine," Sherman insisted.
