Yet another college coach has been wined and dined by an NFL team, only for him to decide to stay at their current job, after a little monetary incentive to stick around.
The Philadelphia Eagles just can't catch a break. They've tried to lure Penn State's Bill O'Brien, Oregon's Chip Kelly, and now Brian Kelly. They all said thanks, but no thanks.
"Like every kid who has ever put on a pair of football cleats, I have had thoughts about being a part of the NFL," Kelly said via the Chicago Sun-Times.
"This decision was motivated purely by my love for Notre Dame and the entire Fighting Irish community, the young men I have the great fortune to coach, and my desire to continue to build the best football program in the country."
BREAKING: Brian Kelly is staying at Notre Dame, official source confirms.

Looks like coaches from the college ranks are finding out pretty fast that if you want to negotiate a pay raise from your school, flirt with a few NFL teams in the offseason.
