Looks like Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers have had enough of RB Rashard Mendenhall.
Mendenhall apparently took the big baby route when told he would not dress for last Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers and decided to not show up at Heinz Field for the game, NFL.com's Aditi Kinkhabwala reported.
He had been inactive for the last two games after his fumble against the Cleveland Browns on November 25th. As of yesterday, he was listed as their third RB behind Jonathan Dwyer and Isaac Redman on the depth chart.
25-year-old Mendenhall will be a free agent, and this latest incident makes him pretty much a goner from Pittsburgh once this season concludes.
RB Baron Batch was promoted from the practice squad to replace him.
