While the combine is mainly for upcoming rookies to showcase their talents in anticipation of the NFL Draft, it's also a great place for GMs and agents to sit down an iron out some things.
Such is the case with the St. Louis Rams, who have been eagerly awaiting the chance to talk with running back Steven Jackson's agent.
The two sides will reportedly meet some time during the comibine, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
Although it's pretty much a given that Jackson will void the final year of his contract, he had not done so just yet, and he has until March 12th to do it, which may give the slimmest of chances of talking him back into the fold for another year.
The question is, how far are the Rams willign to go to retain the three-time Pro Bowler?
