A spokesperson for Titans receiver Kenny Britt may say he's fully cooperating with the investigation into a stabbing incident involving a close friend, but Police say that's far from the truth.
"At this point he is still not cooperating with police," Capt. Edgar Martinez said Monday, via The Tennessean.
"So whatever statement he puts out is false. We are asking anyone who has info of his whereabouts to contact us and that includes the owner of the Titans."
Here's what went down as far a we know: Early Sunday, Britt brought a man with stab wounds to his back to the hospital. At first, Police thought the stabbed man was his brother, but later confirmed he was a close friend of Britt's. He was initially uncooperative they say.
Britt's spokesman said Britt left a dinner cooked by his friends' parents when he found his friend outside with stab wounds, and transported his friend to the hospital, where he stayed for several hours.
Since entering the NFL in 1999, this is his whopping 9th incident involving Police. Looks like Britt will be paying another visit to Roger Goodell, which will be his third.
