Peyton Manning wins AFC offensive player of the week

The NFL has announced Peyton Manning as the AFC offensive player of the week, according to Darin Gantt of profootballweekly.com.

Manning completed 23-of-29 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns, racking up a 144.8 rating in the 38-3 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs.

This makes it the 23rd time Manning has won player of the week award for Manning, putting him in a tie with Tom Brady.
