60 Max continues it's video assault on the draft. Let's take a look at North Alabama's Janoris Jenkins:
Jenkins is extremely athletic, and viewed to be a shut down corner in the Darrelle Revis mode. He was highly recruited out of high school by the University of Florida for his ability to lock down top receivers. Viewed on par with projected Top 5 pick Morris Claiborne based on talent. He has very good speed to keep up with faster receivers, but what separates him is his open field tackling skills.
The off field issues are the only reason he is not being mentioned as a Top 5 pick along with Claiborne. Teams would prefer if Jenkins was an inch or two taller, but that is the only on-field weakness that there is. If Jenkins could put the off field concerns behind him and be a good teammate and player, he would be a steal in the draft. He'll need a strong and supportive culture to keep him on the strait and narrow.
