LaMarr Woodley thinks Donovan McNabb could help the Steelers’ quarterback situation

The Pittsburgh Steelers are going through quarterbacks like a hot knife through butter. Byron Leftwich injured his ribs in the 13-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens and looks to be a scratch for their next game.

Charlie Batch is the next man up; however, the Steelers are razor thin at the quarterback position. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley has an idea - bring in Donovan McNabb.

Woodley via Twitter floated this thought to Jason LaCanfora:

“So @JasonLaCanfora saying byron might be out.
what would yall think if we got @donovanjmcnabb?”

McNabb is 98-62-1 as a starter, but 6-13 in the last two years of his career. Also, McNabb looks to have been sneaking some late night snacks as his weight has ballooned.

But he is an experienced NFL quarterback, and those are rare to come by.
