It seems the Jaguars go through a rebuilding effort annually and this year will be no different.
Owner Shad Kahn has started his evaluation of the Jacksonville Jaguars and obviously he didn’t see much good.
Kahn has started the rebuilding process with the expected firing of GM Gene Smith according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Head Coach Mike Mularkey’s future will be determined by whoever succeeds Smith, which usually isn’t a good sign as GM’s like to bring in their guys and start fresh.
Schefter reports that Cardinals director of player personnel Jason Licht and 49ers director of player personnel Tom Gamble are the top candidates to replace Smith.
