Hints of Steelers OC Todd Haley’s offense are coming to light

As the Pittsburgh Steelers progress through their OTA sessions, fans should be excited to hear some of the news coming out about Todd Haley’s new offense.

Yes, there has been continuing banter by quarterback Ben Roethlisberger about the complexity of the playbook, those complex schemes seem to be winning over many of the other offensive depth chart.

In all, there seemed to be one common theme coming from the statements, the Steelers want to protect their Pro Bowl quarterback and plan on developing an offense that will keep him healthy throughout the season. While Roethlisberger is a gamer and one of the top quarterbacks in the league, he must stay upright if the Steelers want to make a run at the Super Bowl.

At 30, he may never be able to change his game, but hopefully, he buys into these changes as part of the tweaking owner Art Rooney mandated, and allows the offense to achieve new heights.
