Gus Bradley is the new Jaguars head coach

Less than 24 hours after losing out on the Philadelphia Eagles head coaching job to Chip Kelly, Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator will be hired as the new head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Both ESPN’s Adam Schefter and FOX’s Jay Glazer are reporting the news this morning.

Bradley, DC in Seattle for 4 seasons, became a hot commodity after the Seattle Seahawks' stellar defensive year. They finished first in the league in points allowed (15.3), 4th in yards (306.2) and tied for 4th in takeaways (31).

Last week, Seattle head coach Pete Caroll praised Bradley for his work with the defense. "He's got a brilliant football mind," he said, via ESPN. "He's got a way of reaching people and touching people and getting the best out of them, coaches and players alike. He's got everything that you're looking for."
