Redskins’ tight end Fred Davis might want to think about explaining himself, it just makes people laugh. In an interview with 106.7, The Fan in Washington D.C., Davis explained his continual failed drug tests that cost him four games in 2011 according to Profootballtalk.com. Davis stated:
“So, it’s one of those situations where you guys are all like, ‘Oh, you failed it again and again,’”
“It was three weeks in a row they test you, and anybody who smokes weed knows that weed isn’t going to be out of your system in a month. So, of course they’re gonna say it’s repeated.”
So, this begs the question, if you knew those facts, then how did you get caught? Davis claims he hasn’t smoked the green stuff in about a year, we’re sure he’s comfortable with the timeframe, but now he needs to work on keeping his mouth shut.
Davis represented himself in a lawsuit against a woman accusing him of harassing her earlier in the off-season, and drew attention for this comment “It’s just all made up and flagellant,” Davis told the judge during an April 10 hearing. Just to clarify, here is the definition of flagellant:
A person who subjects themselves or others to flogging, either as a religious discipline or for sexual gratification.
So, Mr. Davis your use of flagellant is more like flatulence.
