Chris Berman to announce MNF Chargers/Raiders Game

In his ESPN history, NFL Countdown analyst Chris Berman will be the play by play announcer for the second part of the season opener double header of Monday Night Football. 

The Chargers will be facing their sworn enemies, the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 10. 

Trent Dilfer will also be accompanying Berman in the booth. 

The general reaction around the Twittersphere is that of a bad one. Though he may give some people a headache with his excessive yelling and annoy fans with the way he says certain things I personally like the move. He is an exciting guy with a sense of humor that will make the down time just a little more interesting. 

In addition, most of the more intense fans will be screaming so loud at the TV (whether it be joy or agony) that they will barely hear Berman even speak because it is such an intense game for fans. 

I also look forward to him exclaiming 'WHAT!?' when RB Ryan Mathews makes mince meat of the Oakland defense.
