Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker can't emphasize enough about how the young players have benefited greatly from last year's playoff run, and the veterans on the team that help guide the way.
Speaking with reporters, Decker said “It’s huge for everybody; The more experience you get, the more comfortable you get. You can’t replace experience."
Decker has been itching to get back into the playoffs, having injured his left knee in the first round vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers and unable to return.
“A lot of these guys in the the locker room have been to the playoffs,” he added.
“And a couple of guys (including QB Peyton Manning, WR Brandon Stokley and TE Jacob Tamme with Indianapolis, LB Keith Brooking with Atlanta and C Dan Koppen with New England) have been to a Super Bowl … so they know what it takes to win. That always helps going into a format like this.”
