
Suggs no longer needs a protective boot, after suffering a torn Achilles tendon, the long road back has hit the rehabilitation phase.
“I’m in good spirits, it’s going great,” pertaining to his rehab. “I like the progress I’m making,” Suggs told Trey Wingo on NFL live. Now the question is when will Suggs be able to cause havoc to opposing offense?
“I’m really optimistic,” Suggs said. “I kind of just want everybody to be surprised.”
Surprise is what quarterbacks are saying who is on the Ravens schedule this year, originally it looked as if Suggs would miss the 2012 season.
Suggs all along insisted the injury was a “Partial tear,” and that he would be playing in 2012. He also said from the outset that he would surprise people who doubted him. Well Mr. Suggs, you are on your way. We hate seeing great players on the sidelines, and Suggs is one of those guys.
