Are Russell Wilson's representatives seeking a raise in salary? Maybe in 2 years

Russell Wilson burst on the scene outshining highly touted rookies Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. It has been reported the surprise 3rd round pick’s representatives contacted the Seattle Seahawks about a bump in pay, according to Chris Mortenson of ESPN.

However, even if Seattle wanted to lavish Wilson with riches, the new CBA prohibits that any rookie contract can not be redone until the completion of the 3rd year of the deal.

One has to wonder if the contract that was given to back up Matt Flynn who signed a three-year, $26 million deal last off-season; while Wilson signed a four-year contract worth $2.996 million in its entirety, would cause some friction going forward.
