Greg Williams’s bounty investigation moves on to Washington

What a difference a week makes. About this time last week, Greg Williams was a highly respected defensive coordinator, today not so much. As more news unfolds on William’s bounty program and the many teams he used it with, the investigation is now heading to Washington.

No, not the White House, the Redskins, where Williams was defensive coordinator from 2004-2007.

The fallout is getting quite heavy and Williams now looks to be in prime position to be reamed by Commissioner Roger Goodell, who is known to crack down hard on these types of incidents.

As information comes out of Tennessee that Williams instituted bounty programs there as their defensive coordinator, Washington and Jacksonville (He worked there in 2008) could be the final nails in the coffin for him if more information is found to be true.

All expectations are that this will be the biggest punishment handed down in NFL history, but the New Orleans Saints will feel the brunt of this hurricane.

Jobs could be lost in New Orleans, including Sean Payton's, who has been a staple in the New Orleans community and has contributed heavily to the rebuilding of New Orleans.
