Broadway Te-Bow: What are the New York Jets thinking?

The pressure to compete against the New York Giants has driven Mike Tannenbaum and Rex Ryan mad. Didn’t they just extend Mark Sanchez after getting the stiff arm from Peyton Manning? That already probably threw the kid for a loop, but now Tim Tebow?

Okay, so you're going to go with a young quarterback in Sanchez, who they drafted, but Ryan has openly mocked him.

Now enters probably the worst situation Tebow could go to, and he just found out how much John Elway doesn’t like him because Jacksonville could use a QB and Tebow is from Jacksonville. Elway could have thrown the kid a bone for filling his seats and taking his lifeless franchise and injecting hope.

If Tebow didn’t take the Broncos to the playoffs, do you think Manning would have signed there? The perception was that the Broncos were close, so what sense does it make to bring a young quarterback to New York who could become the biggest distraction?

Don’t tell us how he’s going to play 10-15 plays; he’s not going to have it guys. Don’t the Jets understand they pretty much traded for a quarterback controversy in the nation’s media capital, as if they didn’t have enough problems already?

Sanchez just got slapped backhanded, and every time he misses a pass, he’ll hear “We want Tebow!”.

Own worst emeny: Rex Ryan has always targeted the Patriots, saying it’s they who block them from a championship, but one has to wonder, is that is really true?
