Goodell: difficult to say if Suh groin kick was intentional

Either Ndamukong Suh just got away with murder (ok, just a little kick), or his leg went mysteriously up in the air in an akward manner as Matt Schaub's acorn sack collided with his foot; just a simple misunderstanding.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said at a Lions charity event Tuesday night that it's very difficult for the league to know exactly if DT Suh's intent was to kick Schaub in the groin, according to the Associated Press (via SI.com).

No official word has been announced, and we take Goodell's audience into account - a Lions charity event, but it looks like Suh will escape without a fine. Let's revisit the tape:

Now what we see here are two key points. #1 - Suh rolling over with his leg raised as he's coming down in close proximity to Schaub's groin area and #2 - Appears to be Suh realizing exactly where his foot is when he comes down, and says "hey, this would a great opportunity to kick this guy in the nuts". He then extends his foot into Schaub's cojones. The intent is clear.
